This group is for talking about the future of News, new business models around Media, like blogging, podcasting, video, and other emerging mobile, streaming or downloadable content. Our meeting last month allowed everyone to have "the floor" for 5 minutes, and there were a lot of common themes. If you have a particular topic you'd like to bring up, leave a comment on this event page. Michael Poley is producing a Comedy Video night related to his project. If anyone would like to submit a video or help out with the event, check it out. It will be held on June 24th at the Avalon Gallery (formerly DMAC, AKA the Green Building). Orlando has a very wide distribution of journalists, podcasters and bloggers, as well as the amateurs. What will happen if we get them all in the same room? We will be having regular monthly meetups. A strong community will allow local producers, advertisers, and anyone who produces content to be in a better place going forward.
